This June, my team and I are collectively walking, running, cycling and hiking 1,200 kms in support of Rainbow Railroad and the important, life saving work they do. 

This number is important because it represents the number of requests Rainbow Railroad has already received - this year alone - for help.

Each kilometer we travel will be to represent someone who needs urgent, life or death support. It takes between $5,000-$10,000 to help one person fully escape and re-settle. Any help can make a huge difference.

Rainbow Railroad helps LGBTQI+ people escape persecution around the world, operating in six regions - Latin America, The Caribbean, South/Central Africa, Middle East & North Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Every case is different, but the mission is the same: get people to safety.

In countries around the world, LGBTQI+ people face violence and oppression simply because of who they love or who they are.
