Story
The days of me starting evenings with Old Fashioneds and ending them falling off pavements.. are officially, on hold!
As you may already know, later this year I am taking part in a 400 mile/5 day charity cycle from Venice to Rome, via the Apennines. To keep myself on my toes I have also signed up for a couple of hilly warm-ups - the 112 mile 'Ring of Kerry' in Ireland and the Prudential RideLondon 100miles. I've never trained for anything, so predict this is going to be an almighty challenge.
I am raising money for two brilliant charities: 1) St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich - an independent charity in its 30th year, which provides invaluable palliative care to those living with progressive and terminal illnesses, along with support for their families. They rely heavily upon fundraising efforts in order to deliver this. 2) Ipswich School Bursary Fund - enables talented students to maximise their achievements whilst in education and far beyond, despite financial constraints.
