<p>We are coming up to the first aniversary of Jack's death and we wanted a way to celebrate his life and raise money for some of the charities that supported us during Jack's life.&nbsp; So we have decided to undertake a 30 mile walk for ROSY on the 28 April (see <a href="http://www.rosy.org.uk/fundraising-events.html">www.rosy.org.uk/fundraising-events.html</a>) and three weeks later a 26 mile walk for Helen and Douglas House (see <a href="http://www.helenanddouglas.org.uk/get_involved/fundraising/daybreaker/">http://www.helenanddouglas.org.uk/get_involved/fundraising/daybreaker/</a>).&nbsp; Money given here will be split between the two causes.</p> <p>So why these 2 charities?&nbsp; The help we got from both ROSY and Helen and Douglas House enabled us to give Jack the quality of life that he deserved.&nbsp; They continue to support and care for us even now.</p> <p>&nbsp;The fantastic life we had with Jack was as much due to these 2 organisations as anything we ever did.&nbsp; They enabled us to have time as a family and gave us very precious parenting time.&nbsp; We would be grateful if you would help us to thank them for all they gave our family and to ensure that they continue to give vital help and support to other families.</p> <p>Many thanks</p> <p>Andy and Katherine</p>
