Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So ... 27th July ... this will be challenge day and I will be completing the Virgin Active London Triathlon for Macmillan.  Why?  

The Triathlon

It all began when the wonderful news of Jocelyn and Matt becoming engaged was announced. Every bride on their big day wants to look and feel beautiful. Even though this would come naturally to Jocelyn, it was decided she needed to get fit and the triathlon was the first and 'best' idea she had. But this is about Jocelyn right... WRONG... the next thing I knew I had been signed up, so had Eddie (Jocelyn's brother), then Matt (the Groom) and finally Dave (the Bestman).  It was suddenly a bridal party affair!

I have begun training already. For those days that are difficult to be motivated I have Eddie alongside me and your kind donations will ensure that I complete the triathlon in stunning style!

Macmillan

A few years back, within a few months of each other, my grandparents on my Dad's side died of cancer. Although this was a difficult time they had a wonderful team of local nurses who helped them through. All over the country Macmillan are a similar charity who understand that cancer is one of the toughest things people have to ever face. A team of people support those diagnosed with cancer and loved ones every step of the way. They provide practical, medical and financial support.
