We are radically advancing research to achieve a life free from epilepsy

Story

This year is a big one for me... the big 4-0... massive weight loss (ten stone so far) and a desire to prove that I can be fit and fierce!

More importantly it’s the year that marks a decade since the effervescent firework that was Lucy passed away. In the weeks running up to the anniversary I found myself lost in fond memories and wondering how I could celebrate her life! Five years after her death I ran the Great North Run for #TeamERUK and I’m absolutely delighted to join the team again for this years London Marathon!

Epilepsy interrupts the lives of ordinary, extraordinary people. It’s invisible. It’s unpredictable. It’s frightening.

Epilepsy Research UK is the only UK charity exclusively dedicated to driving and enabling life changing, life saving research into epilepsy.

A life free from epilepsy is possible. But only through research.
