Griff was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in October 2021. He has been receiving constant treatment since then and will do until February 2025. 

Children’s Ward at Wrexham Maelor Hospital was where Griff’s ALL journey began and it continues today. The staff on the ward have become our second family, they have supported us through some of our darkest moments as a family and always shower Griff with love and affection. 

Our Paediatric Oncology Nurses, Jude and Mary, visit Griff on a weekly basis to take bloods or administer treatment. They go above and beyond their roles, always on the other end of the phone no matter what. They are amazing ladies and we cannot express how much we appreciate them. 

Both Children’s Ward and Griff’s Oncology Nurses are an invaluable resource to us and we just can’t express how much we are thankful for having them in our lives. So we felt there was no better way than raising as much money as we can to support them. We hope it can be used towards helping to get equipment and resources for the ward or to help fund training for the staff.
