I've taken up the Calibre Summer Reading Challenge to help spread the love of books to everyone who is print disabled. Between 25 July and 16 September, I'll be reading five books at least one of which will be something that I wouldn't normally read. Not only will this help me explore different types of books and grow my love of reading, but the money I raise from the Challenge will also open up the world of books for those who can't read for themselves. I can't imagine what it would be like not to be able to lose myself in a good book and escape the world for a while and am delighted to be able to do something to bring this pleasure to others who can't access it.
