St Barnabas House Night to Remember 2014 · 21 June 2014 ·
Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my (latest) JustGiving page.
This time I'm walking 13 miles at midnight in memory of my grandad Graham who was taken from us far too young, at the age of 63. I miss him every single day, but its thanks to the care of the incredible people at St Barnabas that we were able to keep him at home and happy for as long as possible. He was a tough & stubborn old b***er when he wanted to be but he was also incredibly caring, loving and was an absolute rock for his 'turkey' (me) my whole life. I wish he was around today to see what we've all been up to as so much has happened since he passed away, but hopefully this is will be a great way to commemorate him. I'd also like to raise awareness for the heros at St Barnabas who care for people like my grandad every day; making their last days as comfortable and relaxed as possible. So, if you're unable to donate please share this link, even if it makes a few more people think of St Barnabas the next time they're thinking of doing something silly for a fantastic charity, or just to give a load of money to!
