Greetings! And many thanks for taking the time to learn more about Dancing with the Stars benefit for the Pink House and Carolinas Breast Friends. I am thrilled and honored to be a member of the 2021 class, and am grateful to represent the legacy and memory of my mother, Norma Hearne Cowell. She, along with too many of her friends, have faced and fought breast cancer and its often devastating physical and emotional impact. And without doubt, it was their shared experience of friendship, community, and true understanding that brought Momma the most comfort. It is for this reason that this event offers an exceptional opportunity to celebrate her exceptional life and spirit. The Pink House and Carolinas Breast Friends organizations are dedicated to providing those touched by this disease a place where they too can find their own community of comradery and kinship. I have no doubt Momma would be thrilled to be serving as a catalyst to recognize and benefit an environment that offers fellowship and healing to others in similar situations. I will do my very best to represent her well. She did love to dance.
