I am running the Race for Life for Suzy, who has medullary breast cancer. 

This is a very rare and aggressive form of breast cancer and Suzy is currently undergoing 20 weeks of chemotherapy and will then need to  undergo a double mastectomy. Suzy and her family have also had to face  the added stress of genetic testing to see if any of her family members also carry the genes that cause this form of breast cancer.

I am fortunate to not have any close friends or family who have suffered from invasive cancer. So when I learned about Suzy through one of my colleagues I immediately wanted to run in her honour and raise awareness of this rare cancer.
