We provide horse riding for the disabled to share the joy of horse riding with all

Story

2018 marks the year of a new challenge for me. I have
decided to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise money for Ravelrig Riding
for the Disabled Association (Yes I am slightly mad and VERY nervous). I am not
a runner so this will be a completely different experience for me.

Ravelrig RDA facilitates classes and therapeutic riding for
around 120 individuals. They have more than 120 volunteers who spend several
hours a week helping out with the horses and providing the riders with the
support they need.  The charity relies
entirely on donations so every penny helps.

Ravelrig is a charity very close to my heart as it has given
my sister, Emma, the chance to escape reality and have fun with fellow riders
for the past 14 years. The excitement on Emma’s face when riding shows us how
much she loves being on the horse. Without donations and the endless work all
of the volunteers put in this amazing riding school would not be able to
continue and my sister would not have the pleasure of spending time with these
beautiful horses each week.  So please
can you spare a penny or two to help motivate me through this run.

Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
