Story
We are running the Rob Burrow Marathon on Sunday 14th May in loving memory of my Dad, Warren Dowson who died on 20th April 2018 just 20 months after his shocking MND diagnosis.
We are also running for our lovely friends Paul, Nic and their beautiful family. Paul was diagnosed with MND last year - we want them both to know we love them & are standing beside them, fighting this awful disease with them every step of the way.
This fundraising page will help to raise money for the Rob Burrow MND Centre - the amazing idea of the wonderful and inspirational Dr Agam Jung, Consultant Neurologist and clinical lead for the motor neurone disease service.
We would be so proud to help fund the creation of a bespoke centre that will deliver excellent patient-centred care in a supportive purpose-built environment suitable for the needs of the 21st century, making a difference to families like mine.
