We support young people to achieve in sport, whatever their ability

Story

The Believe and Achieve Trust was founded in 2014 in honour of Alex Williams, who believed passionately in raising awareness of meningitis and, in his short life, achieved so much.

The charity aims to raise awareness of meningitis; provide monetary or specialist grants for those who have experienced meningitis and thus require support; and support those who wish to succeed in sport through funding, sponsorship or purchase of specialist equipment.

Alison Williams, Alex's loving mother, has worked tirelessly to keep Alex's legacy alive.

All money raised goes straight back into helping those who need it most, including ensuring that sport is accessible for all.

Not only does their work change lives, it also saves them.

I am so honoured to be supporting The Believe and Achieve Trust as I take on the Manchester Marathon, my first race of this distance!
