I feel I must have been having a good day when I signed up for this, but the truth is I have thought about challenging myself by doing something like this for years, when the email came into my inbox and for this cause, something told me this is my chance - why not!  I then quickly went into panic mode and decided I had to rope in someone else to endure this madness with me...that’s where my sister Stephanie came in. 

Those who know me, know that I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination, however I do have determination and am definitely not one to give up easily!  This is not to say I am not completely terrified about what is to come.  

Without completely baring my soul and running the risk of sounding desperate, I personally have battled with poor mental health for as long as I can remember.  Although it has not been constant, as I get older and the pressures and responsibilities of life multiply, unfortunately it seems I struggle more often than not, and I know many others who are going through their own battle.

This is an emensily important topic and a cause that even those who are lucky enough not to suffer personally with poor mental health, are likely to be effected indirectly and so we should all be aware of the challenges and difficulties we face in everyday life. 

Please help me to raise my minimum fund of £350 to take part.  Any dontation no matter how small will be so gratefully received, since my impecibly timed ‘pre Christmas’ redundancy, I may not be able to fund too much of a difference 😉
