Bike Oxford · 25 June 2023 ·

Taking place on Sunday 25th June 2023, there's a choice of three routes, approximately 75, 50 and 26 miles, starting at Oxford University Rugby Club, taking in the best scenery of Oxford and the surrounding countryside.

Story

In January 2022 our Mum / wife / friend /Jenni was diagnosed with NET Cancer. 2022 was a rubbish year for Jenni, however she got through it with the wonderful support of many, including her cancer nurse Mike and the fantastic staff at Maggies in Oxford.

We have decided to cycle 50 miles, of course aided by cake, to show our appreciation and see if we can raise some funds for this course that supports survivors and families.

Maggie's Oxford's beautiful Treehouse and kind cancer support specialists offer a safe and healing space for anyone affected by cancer. We offer the best possible support to anyone who has cancer or who has been treated for cancer, as well as their families and friends. Everyone can visit a centre, you do not need a referral and all our support is free. Our team of expert staff are here to help with anything from managing anxiety to talking to young children about cancer or coping when someone you love dies. You can meet and talk to other people in similar circumstances or join one of our many support groups.

Thank you!
