We are having a Truck, Tractor & Vintage Run on Sunday 31st July in Loughglynn to fundraise for The Heart and Lung Transplant Unit at The Mater Foundation, something which is very close to our hearts. 

As many of you already know, James received a Heart Transplant in The Mater Hospital towards the end of 2020. During his time in hospital, James received exceptional care from all of the Doctors, Nurses, Care Assistants, Household Staff and Porters. At a time when strict Covid measures were in place, and with restricted visiting, the wonderful staff at The Mater did their very best to make us all feel at ease. Through the ups and downs, they were with us every step of the way. 

James returned home Christmas of 2020, and has continued to receive excellent care and on-going support from The Heart and Lung Transplant Unit. James was given a new chance at life, thanks to his donor and the donor's family. This is something we can never repay, but we hope to be able to give a little back by raising much needed funds for The Mater Foundation.
