Bea is donating her hair · 18 July 2019

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Beatrice was saddned when she saw an advert for cancer research and asked why the children had no hair; I explained the effects of the medicine and told her that there were charities that you can donate your hair to in order for wigs to be made for children with cancer and other illnesses. After hearing this (and after me making her think very carefully) she decided that she wanted to help! As well as this just giving page, Shotley primary school are having a non uniform day to raise extra funds to send with her donation.

Any amount, no matter how small will help this wonderful charity!
