Cross Bay Walk
Campaign by Pendleside Hospice (RCN 700993)
On Sunday 23rd May, we will be taking part in the incredible Cross Bay Walk in Morcambe from Arnside to Kents Bank railway station (around 8 miles long) and raising much needed funds for Pendleside Hospice!

Story

I am raising money for Pendleside as a thank you for the help and support they gave to my Mother-in-Law Jean Ritson (Founder of Bizzie Lizzie's, Skipton), who sadly passed away at home 3rd May surrounded by her family. Jean was diagnosed with terminal cancer nearly 9 years ago and fought bravely until the very end. Jean spent nearly 4 weeks in Pendleside in February and received their support at home in her final days. Jean’s Grandson Jack is also doing the walk in memory of his Nana, who he adored ❤️

Any additional sponsorship raised directly by our fundraisers goes directly towards the vital care provided by Pendleside. It costs £7,500 to keep the Hospice running for one day, so every penny that is raised is so important. You may never know exactly how your support will help but you can be assured that the impact your support will have on local families who can benefit from the Hospice services at one of the most difficult and emotional times will be huge and every so appreciated.Thank you for supporting our Cross Bay Walk fundraisers and the Hospice! The Cross Bay Walk will take place on Sunday 23rd May 2021.
