Story
A few months before I turned 21 my lovely dad, Barry, died following a heart attack. He was only 51. We all miss him terribly.
I've wanted to do something in his memory for some time and thought what better way than to fling myself off the Forth Bridge? As a bit of daredevil himself, I thought the old fella would approve (although he would say "less with the old"). I've managed to rope in my sister Kerry so we'll be doing this together.
His death highlighted how horribly short life can be. I'm doing the abseil in aid of Chest, Heart and Stroke because the work they do is so important in helping make life a little bit longer.
Dad, this one's for you, xx
