I've decided to run the Manchester Half Marahon in October as it is a great opportunity to help bring attention to such a special charity.

The plan is to raise as much awareness as possible for Mitochandrial Disease, a disease which has sadly impacted a close friend and her family. 

Currently, there is no cure for this disease, which for many is debilitating and life limiting. However the charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.
