Fundraising for Target Ovarian Cancer
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Thursday 19th April 2018, I lost my Mum too soon after a short battle with ovarian cancer. She was an amazing wife to my Dad, Denis; a perfect Mum to Me and my sisters, Kerry & Sally; as well as a super Nanny to Haydn, Evie, Isobel, Jake, Kyla, Dylan, Barnaby and Bump.
Loving, selfless and kind, we miss her more than words can say.
Unlike breast and prostate cancer, there is no screening programme for ovarian cancer, which is why so many women get diagnosed when it's too late - the symptoms are easily mistaken with other less serious illnesses.
I have worked hard to combat my own illness, MS to be able to tackle this event so please support me undertaking a 5k run with my doggy running buddy (Bailey) in August in Maidstone and together we can raise awareness against this awful disease!
