The Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 2019 · 27 October 2019 ·

Campaign by Age UK (RCN 1128267)
On Sunday 27th October, the famous Leeds Abbey Dash will hit our streets for the 34th time. By participating, you can raise money to help Age UK support older people who have no one to turn to for advice, support or a listening ear. Join Team Age UK!

Story

The dash now has a new meaning for me. I'll now be running in memory of my nan who recently passed away. She was surrounded by a big family and had so much love in her life. I know that many older people are not fortunate enough to have that and leave this place isolated and alone.

Over 1 million older people in the UK are chronically lonely and at this very moment there are over 37,000 older people living in Leeds feeling socially isolated or lonely. Your donations will help Age UK be there for older people who have no one to turn to for advice, support or a listening ear. Thank you for your support.
