Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Leo. I am 8 and a half. 2 and a half years ago I was diagnosed with KBG Syndrome, a very rare chromosome disorder currently effecting just under 600 people worldwide. KBG syndrome causes learning and developmental delays and disabilities. For me it means I have autism, adhd, sensory processing disorder, hearing and sight problems and developmental delays. But people with KBG are amazing, we are great at so many different things! I am a brilliant drummer and have a brilliant memory.

Unique is the charity researching KBG and lots of other very rare chromosome disorders and offering support to all the families effected. Through Unique we have found others going along the same journey as us and feel as though we have discovered our extended family.

So to raise money for this wonderful charity I am going to walk, run, jump, spin and twirl my way to the top of Mount Everest! Please help by sponsoring me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much,

Stay safe everyone,

Love from Leo
