Story
This is a cause so close to our hearts Callum was diagnosed with type one diabetes back in November 2013 and it came as a shock to us all he was only 3 years old he became poorly so quickily n we knew something just wasn’t right so we phoned 111 and before we knew it an ambulance and paramedic car was arriving all sirens n lights blaring and we was bein rushed to the hospital and after a long wait over night and lots of test we was given the news that our son has type one diabetes and his very very poorly the next few days were a blur full of training and understanding on this condition where Callum’s pancreas no longer works and no longer produces insulin so instead we now have to test his blood sugars and inject him with the right doses of insulin countless times in a day this is very hard for a 3 year old and over time Callum has seen that his sumwhat different from others this has knocked his confidence even tho we tell him how special he is n how proud we are he wants nothin but to be a normal now 8 year old.
So now Callum is old enough he has decided he would like to raise money and spread awareness of type one diabetes so we are set to do a 5 mile walk on the 24th February 2018 and in turn this is helping Callum with his confidence and is super excited to let everyone know what it’s all about so please please donate what ever you can and show Callum that what his doin is amazing
UPDATE- so Callum can reach his £500 target we r now doing a raffle drawing on 24th March this will be live on social media on my Facebook account I will have tickets for sale at £1 a strip all money raised joines our total and fingers crossed we can hit that £500 target that Callum really wants to raise thank you all for there support
