As a registered charity SaTH Charity makes a positive difference to the patients of The Royal Shrewsbury and Princess Royal Hospitals. SaTh Charity pays for equipment, patient comforts, staff education and research, which goes above and beyond the funded services provided as standard by the NHS.

Story

As a student nurse, I know the massive strain within hospitals. My daughter Lilah-Mae is aged 7, she wanted so badly to do something to raise money for the NHS. We decided doing something we thought was difficult was the best way to raise enough money to make even a small difference. We are going to cycle (or run) 100 miles over the next 20 days from today (16/04/2020) which should run near the end of isolation. Please support Lilah in the hope to raise money for our local hospitals 🏥 🤞

Most of the hospital wards, departments and community healthcare services have dedicated funds within the charity, which means you can support the specific areas of our hospitals that are closest to your heart. The Charity enables the Trust to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment in these areas, as well as enhancing and improving patient experience and comfort. In addition, the funds raised provide additional training for staff and fund medical research programmes.
