Not long to go before the zip slide! Nearly half way there in the fund raising stakes :) please go onto my just giving page to sponsor me, it's for an amazing cause!

The Beatson Pebble Appeal is a £10m campaign to raise funds to build the Beatson Translational Research Centre; the final element in the creation of the Glasgow Centre for Cancer Research. This centre will be responsible for translating research in the lab into real treatments for patients. 

After losing loved ones to this terrible disease and after my dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer recently it made me realise how much this facility will help improve the treatments for cancer and hopefully in the future this facility will help more people to win their battle!
