Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know, I am passionate about historic buildings and my home city of Birmingham.

On 12 April 2015, I will be running my first marathon in Paris to fundraise for Birmingham Conservation Trust, a charity which finds creative ways to save Birmingham's buildings at risk.

The Trust have had some fantastic achievements, notably including the award winning Back to Backs, now operated by the National Trust and most recently the launch of the Coffin Works, Birmingham's newest heritage attraction:

But there is still much work to do. Many of Birmingham's historic buildings remain under threat and the Trust is uniquely placed to help them to find new futures.

Birmingham Conservation Trust is a small charity and does not benefit from large, regular donations. This means that you can be sure that all donations received will have a major and direct positive impact on the fantastic work that they do.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for reading this and of course for any donations. I'd better get training!
