ACROSS is a charity which provides pilgrimages to Lourdes and Holidays for sick & disabled persons (VIPs).Care is provided by volunteer doctors, nurses and helpers and transport is provided by a large road vehicle with beds & medical equipment.

 

About me 

 

I am currently working at a Nursing Home full time and I have just completed my Diploma level 2 in Health and Social Care, then wanting to do my level 3. I have worked in care for over a year and absolutely love it!
I am hoping to travel with the charity called ACROSS next summer. Hopefully with the CHESTER ACROSS GROUP. To be able to get the chance to volunteer to be a Carer, I would need to raise the money to fund myself to do this. I would Love the opportunity to go next summer as it would be great experience for me.
