Myself and my housemates are doing the Yorkshire Tough Mudder (half) at the end of July and we are all dreading it :-)

I've decided to fundraise for The Equality Trust because inequality in the UK is among the highest in the developed world. In more equal societies people live longer, have better mental health and have better chances for a good education regardless of their background. 

I'm passionate about children having an equal start in life regardless of their socioeconomic status, and lucky enough to be starting a PhD in this area in October this year. The Equality Trust charity fund and disseminate research in this area, promote the evidence, and support campaigns for equality.
