Thanks for visiting my page !! On September 26th 2021, Chris & I will be taking part in the Windsor Half Marathon to raise money for Myeloma UK.

Our backstory 📖 

For as long as I can remember, my dad had always been an incredibly avid runner! 🏃‍♂️ He would take part in half-marathons, full marathons, mountain marathons & ultra marathons every single year without fail. 

Unfortunately towards the end of 2016, my dad was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer known as ‘Multiple Myeloma’, aged 54. 

Multiple Myeloma is currently an incurable (terminal) cancer across all patients, with my dad having been given a 5 year life expectancy back in 2016. Coming up to that fifth year in October 2021, I will be running the Windsor half-marathon to raise money for Myeloma UK - the only organization in the UK who specifically deal with this disease 🇬🇧 

Due to his illness, my dad is no longer able to take part in half-marathons, but it will mean the world to me for him to see my complete my first running event☺️

Myeloma UK have one ultimate goal, to find a cure. ❤️ & although I may not be starting with any marathon’s or ultra-marathons - all donations will support this charity in their research to improve treatment options & to one day beat this disease!🔬 🤞🏼
