On 11th December 2020, at the age of 42, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.  As a family we already had experience of the disease as my Dad was diagnosed with it back in 2017.

The range of symptoms is vast, each day I am affected in some way by the disease. No one can tell me how my future will look, or how quickly I’ll deteriorate. But with  the help of ongoing research maybe one day a cure can be found, or at least better treatments to give people with Parkinson’s the best quality of life possible.

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by beautiful people, so I know my future will be bright xx
