Katie Smith is raising money for Petals
Story
It's been a tough three years in which we have suffered recurrent miscarriages. It was after our first missed misscarriage of twins that I found myself in the safe hands of Petals and their amazing services and my dedicated counselor.
Having Petals support me and us through this overwhelming, heartbreaking and traumatic time inspires me to continue to raise much needed funding for such an amazing charity. I want to pay it forward to families, women and couples who so sadly may need this support during their darkest moments, but with Petals' expertise and time will see some light again.
Counciling sessions cost around £350 which provides space and support to talk through, emotions, trauma, experiences, births and stories supporting the wellbeing and mental health of those navigating their way through pregnancy and baby loss.

We are Petals, the baby loss counselling charity. The specialist counselling service that we provide is life-changing for parents who have suffered the devastating loss of a pregnancy or death of a baby. We know that these tragic experiences not only result in grief but also in trauma. Our wonderful counsellors are there to help our clients navigate their grief and trauma and to guide them to a place of hope. Supporting this challenge you will be helping us to deliver more vital counselling sessions to bereaved parents when they need us.
