After running 57km in a week for the RNLI in May 2020 & running every day May in 2021 (201km in 31days) for The Little Princess Trust this year I’m running a half marathon every week to raise money for Crawley Open house. Im starting my half marathon challenge in style by running the Gatwick half Marathon on 8th May!

So why am I supporting Crawley Open House? 

The last 2 years have affected everyone but for many loss of employment & stable income has had massive implications, plus the current rise in cost of living is affecting many households in the UK. 

Crawley open house covers 25 miles around Crawley. Every night their hostel provides emergency accommodation to 24 people. They also have 8 flats where people can stay between 6 – 18months and 6 move-on houses in the community accommodating 33, helping those who find themselves homeless get back to full independent living. 

In 2021 Crawley Open House distributed over 5,000 food parcels. They had 24,124 appointments with people seeking advice and help with housing and financial issues.
