Ride for Precious Lives is our unique annual sponsored 205 mile, three day cycle challenge to raise money for short and precious lives.

Story

This July, myself and two colleagues - Sarah and Dominic,  will be donning the Lycra and cycling from Somerset to St Austell, Cornwall, over three days -  a total of 205 miles! Our aim is to help raise much needed funds for the Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), so they can continue the wonderful work that they do.

Although, our cycle is anticipated to be both physically and emotionally challenging (those hills), it doesn’t even compare to that faced by families with children that have life limiting conditions, or those that have sadly, had to say goodbye to their loved ones.

The work the CHSW do, is truly inspiring and we are very fortunate to have access to such a wonderful facility, right here, on our doorstep in Cornwall.

If you are able to donate to this fabulous charity - no matter how big or small, we would greatly appreciate it. Likewise, any support with our training is also welcome - we need as many miles in the saddle as we can get, so why not dust off your bike and join us for a training ride?! Terrible jokes and cake stops are mandatory.

Thank you for your support.

Love Katie xx

Thank you for supporting Children's Hospice South West. This is an unprecedented time for everyone. For the wonderful children and families that we support, there are a great many additional challenges because of fear, lockdown and isolation to name but a few.
