Story

Running and exercise has been a key source of staying well both physically and mentally and a way to meet new people. Doing a London Marathon has always been on my bucket list and the Brain Research Trust seemed like a great charity. The aspect that really resonated with me is the opportunity to help people in the future and the diversity in how it supports so many people.

In their own words they, 'inspire scientists and families to come together, side by side, stride by stride.'

Mum and Dad were so proud of me for taking up this challenge and were going to be cheering me on all the way. Dad had already started my fundraising planning! I'm sure on the day, by me fundraising to help other people, Dad will be cheering the loudest.

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.
