On May 2nd I will be heading to Henley on Thames to put myself through a gruelling 12 mile obstacle race designed by the British Special Forces.

I will be faced with the delights of:

- Electroshock Therapy - Live wires hanging over a boggy field
- Funky Monkey - Inclining monkey bars, made slippery with butter and mud, over a pit of cold water
- Everest - Muddy, greasy quarter pipe to run up

I am putting myself through this to raise funds to support the fantastic work of Make A Wish Foundation. They grant wishes for terminally ill children. One wish gives the child and family not only enjoyment but also hope. Anything you can spare, however little, is hugely appreciated.
