I have been a Police Officer for West Yorkshire Police for almost 16 years during which time as my closest friends and family will know, I have personally struggled with anxiety. At times I have required the services of the Police Treatment Centre in Harrogate. Kerry has been with me during one of those bad times when I stayed at the centre for 2 weeks and went home feeling like a new person!

The people who run the centre are amazing and receive little acknowledgement for how much they help both serving and retired officers.

The centre requires £3.7 million per year to continue supporting officers, so I'd like to do my bit in supporting both the centre and any of my colleagues who wish to use it in the future.

For Officers, it really is the only place we have for us, to help improve our wellbeing and recover from injuries, both physical and mental.

So, Kerry has signed us up for the full 10 mile Tough Mudder on the 28th July, to fundraise for this fantastic charity!
