On June 27th 2010 we are doing our first triathlon in Liverpool. We are seeing this very much as preparation for 2012, as we hear there may be talent scouts en route.

For those of you who know us well, you will not be surprised that we have picked the shortest triathlon possible, as we are all so fast and so well suited to sprinting. If you are in town on 27th, please come along and cheer us on (but no need to get there too early!). We will be the ones squealing about jellyfish in the cold, murky, salty, dark water of the docks; cycling around as if out for a day trip; and running just as fast as we possibly can.  

We thought we'd take the opportunity to raise some money for Beating Bowel Cancer. It is a leading UK charity for bowel cancer patients, working to raise awareness of symptoms, promote early diagnosis and encourage open access to treatment choice for those affected by bowel cancer. If you would like to sponsor us and raise money for this good cause, that would be great. No gift is too small and we appreciate it all.
