Event: Ride for Precious Lives 2023, from 7 July 2023 to 9 July 2023
Ride for Precious Lives is our unique annual sponsored 225 mile, three day cycle challenge to raise money for short and precious lives.

Story

As you know - or where have you been if you don't know? - I'm a bit of a cyclist.  Because I'm happy to sit on a bike for hours, and I'm quite good at it, this is the ideal way for me to raise some much needed money for Children's Hospice South West.

With your generousity, and my leg power, we can help to provide care and support to many children and young people with life-limiting conditions.  Children's Hospice South West can use the money to help families with respite, palliative care, end of life care and emergency care.

Of course, cycling challenges are not all about the legs.  There is a huge mental aspect to cyling long distances over long periods of time.  There's little time to recover between stopping in the evening and starting again the next morning.  You have to put in some serious training to be able to do this - it's not just about turning up and riding for three days!

So here's your chance to support Team Ride in 2023 for an unforgettable 3 days of cycling.  Ride for Precious Lives is Children's Hospice South West's unique, 225 mile, 3 day cycle challenge which annually raises money for short and precious lives.

We'll cycle from St Austell to Bristol, through challenging, but breathtaking, scenery and visit their three very special childrens hospices Charlton Farm, Little Bridge House and Little Harbour along the way.  The ride takes place between the 7th and 9th July 2023.

But of course, you don't have to put in the hours of training and preparation to accomplish this!  You can help with sponsorship.  Let me know that you support me by donating what you can, please.
