My Uncle Kristian, was a truely wonderful man. He was always there for me, with jokes, advice or just to chat. Growing up he always had the coolest jobs - like working for Disney, or just being an actor in a play. But in 2010, he was diagnosed with Cancer. Just two years ago, my Uncle Kristian died in a beautiful hospice in Denmark, it was a very difficult thing going to the funeral of such a great man.

However the Hospice gave him the opportunity to have dignity in his final months, and it gave his loved ones peace of mind knowing he was in such a beautiful place with some amazing people when we could not be with him. 

Supporting our hospices is important, they will not be able to help our loved ones when needed without this support as the majority of their funding has to be raised privately.
