On Sunday 9th July 2023, and for another year, we’ll be part of a 30 strong team taking part in the iconic Asics 10k for Spread Some Sunshine in London.

Every penny raised will help in spreading a little sunshine!

Spread Some Sunshine is a small charity that aims to bring joy to children in the UK and abroad who are facing trauma or severe adversity. Some of the children they support include children living in domestic violence refuges and safe houses and children residing in orphanages, hospices or extremely impoverished communities. Their goal is simple: to spread smiles and laughter to as many kids as possible. They send birthday and Christmas gifts, arrange welcome packs with toys and teddies, fund music and colour therapy sessions, throw parties and Easter egg hunts, arrange pizza nights and pamper days and pay for days out and weekends away. Simple gestures that deliver smiles, create positive memories and allow them to feel like kids.
