Last weekend I completed the Stockholm marathon. Next Saturday (just two weeks later) I will be running the Midnight Sun Marathon in Tromso (northern Norway). 'Crazy' is an adjective that has been used several times over the last couple of weeks.....

To motivate me in the forecast four degrees (brrrrr!), please help me support Umnqophiso Pre-Primary School (one of the projects supported by One World Group). The School is based in Somerset West, just outside Cape Town and I have visited it many times and my extended family has an ongoing involvement. 

The School has over two hundred pupils under the age of seven, most of whom, upon arrival at the school, have never held a pen or pencil. Research has shown that children who attend Pre-Primary are less likely to repeat grades or drop out of school and therefore have a greater opportunity to receive an education. It is led by the inspirational Nomaweza who set up the School in 1996.
