Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

All done. 13.1 miles completed without stopping! Thank you everyone for your kind donations...we raised so much money! Although my dad would've told me I was crazy, he would've also been very proud. So thank you all for supporting me and making the run very worth while!xx

As most of you know but some of you dont, I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2008, aged 58. It was a very hard time for my family so since then, my mum has been regularly fundraising for Marie Curie and well, I've done absolutely nothing. So nearly four years later, it's time to get off my arse and do something and have also dragged my fantastic boyfriend Fred and fabulous best friend Gabby, along with me. Please note: neither of them had much of a say when I asked them to join me on this desperate 13 mile run so if you've got no sympathy for me, at least find it in your hearts to donate for them ;) Marie Curie really is a fantastic charity and I will always remember how amazing they were for my dad. Please please please dig deep and give as little or as much as you can. Gab and Fred won't judge you but I might ;)
