I am running the Newport marathon to raise much needed funds for my two nephews Leo and Bobby.  

Leo is 8 with cerebral palsy and is a full time wheelchair user. 

Bobby is 6 with a spinal cord injury and also a full time wheelchair user. 

We are raising money for physio and specialist equipment to help them with mobility and give them the best opportunities in life.

Leo is unable to sit unaided and he is non verbal. He uses a Powerchair and has a voca, which he uses to talk through. Leo requires lots of physio input to make him stronger and to prevent him from becoming less mobile. He is a very sociable boy who loves telling jokes and lights up a room with his cheeky smile and contagious laugh. 

Bobby is unable to weight bear at all and due to his condition he spends a lot of time in hospital. He needs lot of physio to help build his core strength and to prevent/delay scoliosis. He loves to try out new sports and plays wheelchair basketball every Saturday. He is a very active and adventurous child who lives life to the fullest.
