Story
In February 2024, I'll be taking on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Cambodia, Thailand and Laos. My fellow cyclists and I (there will be 25 of us) will be cycling over 500km (over 300 miles if you prefer!) to meet Lendwithcare entrepreneurs and raise funds for CARE's poverty fighting projects. I will be funding the entire cost of my trip, airfares, insurance, accommodation, bike hire etc. That has already been paid into this account so every £ you give on this page will be a direct donation to help fund Lendwithcare's amazing work making such a difference. Oh yes and will encourage me to get out and train!!
I have been a part of Lendwithcare for 7 years. In that time I have given £726. I have made 216 loans to entrepreneurs in many third world countries. Most of those loans have been made from turning round repayments on loans already made. It is a great giving model! To date 190 of those loans have been fully repaid and only 8 have defaulted. When the loans are repaid I make new loans and so far I have lent £4727 and helped 1765 entrepreneurs. I am so proud of every single one of them.
I would love to raise money for the charity but I also want to urge you to have a look at it with a view to becoming a lender. It really is the most rewarding (in every sense) way of giving. Have a look at it find it at lendwithcare.org
