My wonderful friend Emma signed herself up to this with her friends and has somehow managed to rope me into this 25 mile walk! 

I am excited for a challenge but actually now even more so to raise money for this special charity. 

I have an important Welsh farmer in my life, my grandad Boyo. My grandad is a strong man with a wonderful mind, always telling stories and cracking jokes. A few years ago he started having funny turns, his memory started to go and it wasn’t pleasant for anyone to see, my poor nan especially. His health has deteriorated since and he is now in a home and no longer recognises his children or grandkids, seeing his mind go has been a very very sad thing. I want to raise money and awareness for this charity to try and help as much as possible. 

Sadly we will all get older and we don’t want this disease to get worse, we don’t know what will happen to our minds looking at screens so much! At present no treatments stop or reverse the disease’s progression. There is currently no cure.

I am walking this for my grandad but would be grateful if YOU could help too, donate to Alzheimer’s and help others too.
