Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, is the name for a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties.

The breathing difficulties tend to get worse over time and can limit normal activities.

Linda's husband, Paul, suffers with COPD, likely caused by dust from his work as a builder over many years. There is no charity in the UK specifically doing research into COPD and only one, The British Lung Foundation, doing specific research into lung disease in the UK.
