Story

My gym YMCA Bath has unfortunately had to close its doors due to COVID-19, meaning they’ve stopped all memberships fees. This however, impacts the great work that they do in the community.

Their work encompasses the varying level of need within their community and aims to provide advice, support and guidance; not only as a preventative measure of homelessness and anti-social behaviour through their youth work; but also during a person’s most vulnerable times when dealing with the many issues associated with homelessness and building a new life within the community.
The work they do is not only providing a better future for the individuals that they help, but also contributes towards a better community.

So I wanted to raise money for them this year by joining forces with some of the Yogis of YMCA Bath Health and Wellbeing by doing 2600 sun salutations in 10 days. This is part of the 2.6 challenge as charities are getting hit the hardest during this pandemic, unable to raise funds in the ways they normally would.

108 sun salutations takes about 1hr, so even 260 per a day is going to be quite a challenge!

Please find it in our heart to donate as much or as little as you can, and if you pay tax, please gift aid as it makes a huge difference!
