In 2023 I joined the 50 Shades of Age Relay team and took part in the 24 hour Relay For Life! The weather could not have been wetter for the duration of the walk but we all were determined to see it through to the end. It didn't deter any of us and in 2024 we decided to do it all over again, and the 50 Shades of Age team came together to start fundraising for a cause so close to our hearts.

2025 is no different, we have started the fundraising again in a number of ways.

July 19th /20th will see us back together as a team in our Relay for Life 24 hour challenge

I have always say that I am not good at asking people for money and that’s something that hasn’t changed. I certainly won’t be offended if you feel that you are unable to help me, or help 50 Shades of Age raise funds, however if you can I will be eternally grateful. Your generosity last year helped 50 Shades of Age become the top fundraiser for the whole event, and you all made me the top individual fundraiser..... Thank you!

Fundraising for Relay For Life, is helping fund research and make discoveries. You’re helping bring about a world where everybody can live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

- £65 could buy special restriction enzymes. These act like molecular scissors to cut long strands of DNA, allowing our scientists to find out more about the genes that can cause cancer.

- £220 could fund our team of nine cancer nurses for one hour. Our nurse helpline offers confidential support and guidance to people affected by cancer.

Together we are beating cancer.
