Being a cancer survivor makes me very grateful to all those incredible people out there who have been responsible for looking after me, and still do. When my friend Janet Hudson told me she was growing her hair to donate in the making of wigs for chemo patients, I decided to get on board and help. Janet & her husband Phil, are the caretakers of Riding for the Disabled at Raymond Terrace, so they have a great deal of interaction with all those fantastic kids and their parents who access the facility. We decided that all the money we raise will be divided between the RDA and the Cancer Foundation. Having decided to have our heads shaved inspired another friend, Vicki Schubert, to join us in our endeavors to make a difference.

The Head Shave will take place on Saturday 25th October @ the RDA Raymond Terrace, at the "Bushies' Ball" .
